The program “Between Memory and Oblivion” aims to include youth workers, teachers, university and PhD students, memory-workers as well as other interested public, in a discussion on WWII places of remembrance and ways of combating the status of abandonment and forgetting these places often are facing.
The study visit in Trieste and Koper concentrates in particular on the transnational dimension of remembrance, with a focus on the socio-historical and political-economic context of multicultural societies.
The study visit will take place in Trieste (Italy) and Koper (Slovenia) from the 14th to the 17th of October 2022.
