Dachauer Symposium<\/h1>\n

Das Dachauer Symposium zur Zeitgeschichte<\/strong> findet seit dem Jahr 2000 im Max Mannheimer Haus statt und hat sich als wichtiges Forum des wissenschaftlichen Austauschs zur Geschichte des Nationalsozialismus<\/strong> etabliert. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich sowohl an die internationale Zeitgeschichtsforschung<\/strong> als auch an eine breite interessierte \u00d6ffentlichkeit. Das Symposium wird von der Stadt Dachau finanziert und stellt gemeinsam mit vielf\u00e4ltigen Aktivit\u00e4ten der Auseinandersetzung mit der Geschichte des Nationalsozialismus eine wichtige S\u00e4ule des Lern- und Erinnerungsortes Dachau dar.<\/p>\n

Die Tagungsbeitr\u00e4ge werden in der Reihe \u201eDachauer Symposium zur Zeitgeschichte<\/strong>\u201c ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Ziel der Reihe ist es, aktuelle Forschungen zur Geschichte und Nachgeschichte der NS-Zeit vorzustellen, zu diskutieren und dar\u00fcber nachzudenken, wie und warum der Nationalsozialismus unsere Gegenwart nach wie vor beeinflusst. Dabei geht es sowohl um Gegenwartsbez\u00fcge als auch um die Einbindung aktueller \u201eerinnerungskultureller\u201c Entwicklungen. In den Jahren 2000 bis 2011 war Dr. Bernhard Scho\u00dfig Projektleiter des Symposiums, seit dem Jahr 2012 fungiert die Zeithistorikerin Prof. Dr. Sybille Steinbacher als Projektleiterin. Die wissenschaftliche Leitung f\u00fcr die jeweiligen Tagungen wird jedes Jahr neu vergeben.<\/p>\n
